KYMedia is the website of Kishi Yamamoto, London-based Japanese-British TV producer-director. Kishi has worked for NHK – Japan Broadcasting Corporation – BBC, Channel 4 and other international broadcasters as Producer-Director, Associate Producer and Coordinator. With a photo-journalistic background, she started working in TV over a decade ago with a three-part BBC series on Japanese bubble economy in the 1990s. Since then, she has accumulated an impressive list of programmes covering current affairs, economics, modern history, arts, sports and education. Kishi has also initiated and produced several international co-production projects with NHK and BBC as well as UK independent production companies.
